Our 100 Years Remembrance Assembly
This morning, 12th November 2018, we held our own Remembrance Day Assembly at the Ridgeway War Memorial. Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 lay their own Poppies as a sign of respect. Year 5 led our act of remembrance explaining why we remember. They also recited the poem Flanders Field before our silence.
It was lovely to see the respect shown by the whole school and that they understood the importance of the occasion.
